CLARKSVILLE, TN − Goines to Rise announces the second annual “Drive Out Disaster” Golf Scramble, scheduled for June 10 at the Clarksville Country Club. This charitable event aims to raise funds for the American Red Cross Tennessee River Chapter’s disaster relief fund, supporting crucial resources for the community in times of crisis.
Recent years have seen an increase in weather-related catastrophes nationwide, with significant impact on the local community. The Red Cross Tennessee River Chapter has been instrumental in providing support across Middle Tennessee and the 13 counties it serves. The golf scramble seeks to rally community support for this vital organization, ensuring necessary resources are available for future disaster response efforts.
“As we approach the unpredictable spring storm season, it’s crucial that we come together as a community to support the American Red Cross,” said Alexis Goines, Goines to Rise founder. “By participating in or sponsoring this golf scramble, individuals and businesses can make a real difference in our local disaster preparedness and response capabilities.”
All proceeds from the golf tournament will be donated directly to the Red Cross Tennessee River Chapter’s disaster fund. Event organizers are currently seeking both sponsors and players to participate in this worthy cause.
