CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Goines Agency’s sixth annual Fall Safety Festival is coming up Saturday, Oct. 21 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Allstate, The Goines Agency, 1604 Madison St.
Owner of the Allstate agency, Alexis Goines, said the event started six years ago on the first-year anniversary of the business. “We wanted to find a way to give back to not only our customers, but also to the community,” Goines said.
Goines said they also wanted to find a way to utilize the businesses that were participating to give back to nonprofits. “In correlation with Allstate Foundation and the businesses that have sponsored the event, we’ve been able to give nearly $20,000 over the years to the community,” Goines said.
The free festival will feature Clarksville Fire Rescue, Clarksville Police Department, CPR training and the Matthew Walker Mobile Clinic. Goines said the event will have 25 vendors this year and each of them will have activities and games to promote safety, prevention and family fun.
