A cherished Clarksville tradition for three decades that combines faith, patriotism and family returns this week.
The God & Country Patriotic Broadcast, hosted by Kevin Kennedy, begins airing on TV Wednesday, June 30, and continues daily through the Fourth of July.
“I have hosted the local God and Country Patriotic Broadcast for the past 33 years,” Kennedy said. “It offers numerous young talent the opportunity to be on TV in our area, for example, Miss USA Rachel Smith.”
The hour-long program features several local pastors delivering patriotic messages.
“It hosts great musical talent that have been on display and inspirational to our community,” Kennedy said. “The message of patriotism, our flag, churches and our family have resonated for decades through this broadcast. Some of the best-known Christian leaders throughout Montgomery County have appeared and shared their words of wisdom through this platform.”
The God & Country Patriotic Broadcast is the longest running TV broadcast in Clarksville history, he said.
“It serves as an opportunity to share faith, fun, and freedom. Join us, let freedom reign.”
