Gladys Marie Burkhart, age 92, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Gertrude Bellamy Halliday; husband, Carl Burkhart; father of her children and husband, Miles Suiter; and three older brothers: Gordon, Earl, and Sammy Halliday.
She is survived by her younger brother, Martin Halliday; five children: Brenda Malick, Dianne (Mike) Chester, Debbie (Jim) Worthington, Carlene (Tony) Smith, and Ronny (Brenda) Burkhart; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her remains will be cremated per her wishes. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home.
