Gladys Jewel Welker, age 80, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, at her residence.
Gladys was born March 14, 1936, in Cunningham, TN, to the late Hugh Underwood and Ruby Harrison Underwood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Welker; two sons, Mark Welker and Donnie Welker; five brothers; and three sisters.
Mrs. Welker was a dedicated homemaker and a member of Hilldale Church of Christ.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 15, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Bro. Steve Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, and Wednesday, June 15, from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Gladys is survived by her daughter, Debra Welker; one brother, John Robert (Nancy) Underwood; grandson, Dustin Welker; and great grandson, Cadoc Welker.
