Gilbert Dixon Conyers passed away Monday December 22, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Little Rock Baptist Church with visitation after noon on Friday at the church. Burial will be at Erin Community Cemetery.
He leaves to morn his wife Sarah Conyers, Step Children Troy Mays (LaTonya), Marla Mays, Harold Ray Cooksey, Step grandchildren, Jerica Mays, Sharay Mayberry, Daywaun Hooper, Zoie Cooksey, Jada Cooksey, Great Grandchildren Cajihiona Bransford, Cedriyon Bransford, Favorite Nephew David Conyers, Special Sister in Law and Brother in Law Carolyn and Jerome Shields. Special friends Steve Turner, and Lawrence Hall. Sister in Laws Stella Anthony, Savella Bradley, Brenda Sanders, Mary Ada Dyer. Brother in Laws Odell Sanders, James Phillips. Gilbert worked for the City of Waverly, TVA and retired from Holland Construction after 41 years.
