CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Gigi’s Cupcakes Clarksville has closed under their current ownership, and the owner is looking for someone to take over the business.

Suresh Burle, owner of Gigi’s Cupcakes, told Clarksville Now that he intends to sell his business because of ongoing health issues involving his wife.

Burle said his family is attached to the business more than anything else in their lives. For that reason, they’ll continue paying rent and franchisee dues with the hope of selling to someone else soon. Burle said he is committed to finance 95% of the sale if a motivated buyer comes in and pays $10,000 to 20,000 in cash. Burle said he would charge the buyer 0% interest.

Gigi’s Cupcakes opened their doors in 2016, which cost Burle around $350,000. They joined the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce earlier this year.

Gigi’s had been temporarily closed since June 12 at the 620 Dunlop Lane address.

In their statement, the business thanked all of their customers for their loyalty, business and support over their seven years of operations. Those interested in buying the business can contact Burle at 305-299-4562 for more information.
