George Alfred Goetzka, 57, of Clarksville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on July 6, 1955 in Montana to the late Alfred George Goetzka and Patricia Ann Martz Baker.
Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 12 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Deacon Dominick Azzara officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. with a rosary service to follow and Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
George was a salesman for Budweiser of Clarksville. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He is survived by his beloved fiancee of 25 years, Barbara Eckman of Clarksville, TN; step-father, Harley J. Baker of Clarksville, TN; three sisters, Patti J. Justice of White House, TN, Vicki Bland of Nashville, TN, and Martha J. Baker of New York; six grandchildren, Curtis Bland, Katherine Bland, Jeri-Lynn Justice, Jenna Vichota, Emma Grace Terhaar-Baker, and Maxwell J. Terhaar-Baker; and great nephew, Bentley Vichota.
Pallbearers will be Knights of Columbus. Honorary pallbearers will be the Boy Scouts of America.
