CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Gateway Medical Center will host a blood drive Friday, September 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The drive will be held in a mobile unit parked in front of the hospital.
Each donor will receive a memorial 9/11 ribbon and a free t-shirt (Auburn Tigers, UT Vols, Georgia Bulldogs, or Alabama Crimson Tide).
Participants can sign up online.
Walk-ins are always welcome.
Each day, a minimum of 440 blood donations are needed in the Clarksville area, according to Gateway. Each donor can save up to three lives.
Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with parental consent) and weigh at least 110 pounds.
