CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Gateway Chamber Orchestra presents the opening concert of the 2016-17 Clarksville Pediatric Dentistry Family Series: Peter and The Wolf, Sunday, November 13 at 3 p.m.
This multimedia program features narrator Sebastian Knowles along with the visual artistry of Black & Jones and will be performed in the George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall.
This orchestral fairy tale reigns as one of the most popular and well-loved classical concerts for children of all ages. Using different instruments to define each of the characters in the story, young listeners can easily follow along as the hero, a little boy named Peter, outwits a clever wolf. The public is invited to come early at 2 p.m., for fun pre-concert craft activities and a children’s Instrument Petting Zoo, where young people learn to make musical sounds with professional instruments.
