CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police and firefighters responded to a hazardous material spill Saturday around 3:54 p.m. at the intersection of Elkmont and Need more roads near the entrance of Sugartree Subdivision.
According to a release, a vehicle’s fuel tank erupted on the road, and Clarksville Fire Rescue contained and decontaminated the spill.
Elkmont Rd. was re-opened around 7:30 p.m.
