CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have identified the suspect in a recent armed robbery at a gas station as a juvenile under the age of 18.
The suspect entered the business at 1361 College Street Feb. 17 around 3:10 a.m. and displayed a weapon. He took an undisclosed amount of money and left the store.
Investigators have not determined that the weapon used in the robbery was a BB gun, not a handgun as previously thought.
The juvenile will be charged with aggravated robbery and transported to a juvenile detention facility.
Police said there are more charges expected in the case.
