Gary Alonzo Jackson Sr., age 65, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, at his brother’s residences of natural causes surrounded by his family.
Gary was born November 2, 1957, in Clarksville the son of Mary C. Lark Jackson and the late Charles F. Jackson. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Jackson.
Survivors include besides his mother, two sons, Charles Jackson and Gary A. Jackson Jr.; two brothers, Steve Jackson and Ray Jackson; 10 grandchildren, Dalton, Mason, Keaton, Andrew, Darlene, Callie, Lauren, Charleigh, Haley and Kimberly and one great grandchild, Braelynn.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Seeley officiating. Burial will follow in Mallory Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
