CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Funeral services have been set for 19-year-old Ashley Ashworth.
Ashley Nicole Ashworth, age 19, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She was born September 26, 1996, in Clarksville, TN, to Mandrell Ashworth and Cecilia Gustafson.
Ashley was a 2014 graduate of Northwest High School.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 24 at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Anthony Daley officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Ashley was shot during an altercation at a party Sunday on Cedar Springs Circle. The shooter, 19-year-old Demarkus Ely, has been charged with criminal homicide.
