CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Whether you want to have a deep passion for plants and flowers or simply want to revitalize a back yard that’s gone to weeds, there’s a lot to learn about gardening. Newcomers to this hobby can pack a lot of information into one day with the Master Gardeners’ Fourth Annual One-Day Workshop.
The educational seminars will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at the Agriculture Extension Office, 1030-A Cumberland Heights Road.
The cost is $40 per person and attendees must sign up by March 6. A free lunch of hot dogs, chips, cookies and drink is included.
During this workshop, members of the Montgomery County Master Gardener Association will lend their knowledge on such topics as soil amendment,
vegetable and flower growing, hosta growing, hay bale gardening, yard art and pruning. Guests can also browse through the information booths during the lunch period.
