CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Friends of the Library’s Booktique has opened inside the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library.
The Booktique offers used books, DVDs, CDs and more. All items are $1 with money going to support the public library. The community is encouraged to visit the public library and check out the selection of books available. Items will be restocked and refreshed on a regular basis, so there is sure to be something new with every visit. The Booktique does not replace the popular Used Book Sale that traditionally happens twice a year.
The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit organization of people working together to support the library. The Friends not only support the library financially, but they also contribute their time, ideas and talents. The Friends have sustained the library in recent years by sponsoring special events and purchasing a variety of items for the library that are not part of its regular operating budget.
