CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Friends of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will host a four-day used book sale featuring gently used books, movies, music and other items, with proceeds benefiting the library.
The sale will offer thousands of items, with most priced at $1. A selection of vintage and specialty items will be available in a designated section at slightly higher prices.
The sale schedule is:
- Thursday, Oct. 22: 3-7 p.m. Friends-only preview night. Memberships will be available at the door for $5, allowing members to shop before the sale opens to the public.
- Friday, Oct. 23: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Open to the public.
- Saturday, Oct. 24: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Open to the public.
- Sunday, Oct. 25: 1-4:30 p.m. $5 bag sale. Shoppers can fill a provided bag with items for $5.
Cash, checks and credit and debit cards will be accepted. Processing fees apply to card transactions.
All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, a nonprofit organization that supports library programs and initiatives, including Summer Reading, educational events and community outreach. Through fundraising and advocacy, the Friends help provide resources and opportunities designed to encourage reading, learning and community engagement.
