CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Friends of the Library Fall Used Book Sale at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library opened Thursday for the Friends preview. The sale began with a line of book fans and collectors ready to go through the selection of hundreds of books with each one costing no more than $1.

The book sale will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. All of the funds raised will go to the Friends group, a nonprofit organization working together to support the work and programs of the library.

The Cumberland Winds Concert Band will be featured during the sale with their annual fall concert on Saturday at 1 p.m. The concert is free and will be held in the atrium of the library, 350 Pageant Lane in Veterans Plaza.
