CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A crash involving a motorcycle sends one man to the hospital early Friday morning.

At 7:38 a.m. a 22-year-old riding a Harley Davidson, collided with a gray Kia Sorento driven by a 76-year-old man. The Sorento was attempting to make a left turn onto Trenton Road from the Marathon Gas Station near Needmore Road. It turned into the path of the Harley Davidson that was traveling down Trenton Road.

The cyclist hit the rear end of the Sorento, causing him to fall and slide into oncoming traffic. He became separated from his motorcycle and slid under a Toyota driven by a 17-year old male.

The motorcyclist involved in the accident was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by Life Flight and is currently in critical but stable condition. Charges against the other parties involved are still pending.
