CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Fort Campbell Federal Credit union, along with other local businesses, will demonstrate their appreciation for the military with the “Cruze to Salute Freedom” tour.
The yellow Chevy Cruze began its tour Saturday, May 25 in Oak Grove, Ky. and will run through July 4. Among other stops, Freedom Cruze had two weekly appearances at the Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union branches in Clarksville, Hopkinsville and Fort Campbell, to provide their members and the community an opportunity to handwrite their messages of thanks and encouragement to the troops.
“Cruze to Salute Freedom” is not a fundraising effort for any designated organization, but rather an awareness opportunity, sponsored by Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union, James Corlew Chevrolet, and USA Discounters. All “Freedom Cruze” sightings were free and open to the public.
