CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Tennova Healthcare and Fleet Feet Clarksville will host a free wellness seminar on Wednesday, August 15. “Prepared at the Start” will be held at Fleet Feet Clarksville from noon to 1 p.m.
This workshop is specially designed for athletes, especially those participating in the Valor Run on September 15. The first 25 people to register will be provided with a free lunch while listening to experts in the fields of nutrition and active wear.
“Prepared at the Start” allows Valor Run participants the opportunity to speak directly with Tennova’s expert clinical dietitians. They will discuss both pre and post nutritional needs while participating in endurance events. For more information on Tennova’s nutrition program – visit here.
Fleet Feet Clarksville will have a Fit ID on site for those participating in the seminar. Fit ID allows guests the opportunity to use a 3D scanning technology to develop personalized solutions to your run. Fleet Feet Clarksville staff will be on-site to answer questions regarding footwear, race day essentials, and more.

Valor Run Half Marathon and 5k presented by CDE Lightband will be held Saturday, September 15 at Beachaven Winery. The Memorial Mile presented by AARP will be a one-mile remembrance walk to honor our fallen heroes at Fort Campbell. In partnership with the Go Commando race, Valor Run will be the exclusive fall race for Clarksville. Runners can still register. The 2018 race will benefit Medals of Honor and the Clarksville Rotary.
