CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Vanessa Green Guitar Studio will host their third annual “Ghouls on Guitars” Halloween concert at Barksdale Elementary School October 20 at 6 p.m.
Guitar students will perform music from Hocus Pocus, Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, Phantom of the Opera, The Munsters, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ghostbusters, and more.
Guitar and vocal soloists, ukulele duets, classical guitar ensembles, and a rock band will offer an eclectic and festive exhibition of young talent.
“The Ghouls on Guitars concert is a fun and informative opportunity for the community to witness the potential of guitar education. Guitar education is not just about strumming chords. It is about music literacy and developing a musical culture in our community,” Vanessa Green said.
The rock band portion of the concert has been organized with the collaboration of local drummer Lauren Boling. The concert will be directed by Vanessa and Kevin Green and is free and open to the public.
