CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Burt-Cobb Community Center will offer the first-ever Fundamental Basketball Day Camp this June.
The first day, for ages 6-8 years-old, will be held on Friday, June 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. The second day, for ages 9-12 years old, will be held on Friday, June 12 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Coach Tracie Mason-Blair along with Burt-Cobb Community Center Staff will instruct the camp, which will conclude with an organized game to allow participants to put their new skills to work. Basic dribbling, ball handling, and proper shooting techniques are just a few of the skills that will be taught during the camp.
The event is free for all participants. There is no pre-registration so just show up ready to learn and play basketball! This is a great opportunity for kids to learn about the sport of basketball, interact with children their own age for some friendly competition, and to also learn how to work as a team.
The Burt-Cobb Community Center is located at 1011 Franklin Street. For more information about Fundamental Basketball Day Camp, call (931) 552-1263.
