CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – On Wednesday, April 10, 2019 the Mayor of Clarksville Joe Pitts joined President of First Tennessee Bank in Middle Tennessee Carol Yochem and other member of the First Tennessee Bank leadership team for the grand opening celebration of the newest HOPE Inside location.

Located at First Tennessee Bank’s Jefferson Street location, this HOPE Inside will provide free financial literacy education for area youth, adults and small businesses.

HOPE Inside is part of a $1 million commitment by First Tennessee Bank’s Financial Education & Empowerment Program, in partnership with global financial dignity and economic empowerment nonprofit, Operation HOPE, Inc.

First Tennessee has opened 21 HOPE Inside offices to date, including several offices specific to small business counseling, in the bank’s financial centers throughout Tennessee.

The free financial education curriculum is provided by First Tennessee’s employee volunteers, strategic nonprofit alliance partners and counselors at First Tennessee HOPE Inside offices.

HOPE Inside offices at First Tennessee locations served more than 8,000 new members in 2018 with over 1,360 clients still actively enrolled in services. HOPE Inside offices have helped clients create 84 new small businesses.
