Franklin Bailey Thompson, age 74 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at his residence.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A Graveside Service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
He was born in Ripley, TN on November 3, 1939 to the late Byran William and Eva Thompson. He was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister. He served and retired from the US Army.
He is survived by wife, Arlyss Wells Thompson; sons, Philip (Paula) Howard, Stephen (Kathi) Thompson; daughters, Phyllis (Daryl) Hogg, Alena (James) Thibert, Pamela (Ronnie) Smallwood, Erline (Ricky) Furrow; nephew, Bruce Kerr; nieces, Beverly, Judy, Rowanne; 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
