CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The City of Clarksville plans to reopen the Franklin Street Parking Garage on Friday after almost 10 months of repairs.

The Parking Garage at 213 Franklin St., beneath the Clarksville Transit System bus transfer station, has been closed since May 1, 2025, to conduct repairs to the CTS facility’s deck, according to previous reports.

The work completed inside the Franklin Street Garage included structural repairs, replacement of the damaged wheel stops, and installation of a new fire sprinkler system, according to a news release Thursday from city spokesperson Jimmy Settle.

The City’s Parking Department will reach out to contracted parkers to notify them when they can begin parking in the Franklin Street Garage, Settle said. Monthly ParkMobile users will be able to purchase a March parking pass online beginning Friday.
