CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Publix at Walker Farms Shopping Center opened its doors for shopping Wednesday morning.

The supermarket at 2300 Trenton Road joins three other Publix stores in Clarksville, one on Tiny Town Road, another on Madison Street and another on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.

Close to 50 people were in line when the ribbon was cut and the store opened at 7 a.m.

Autumn Swart was first in line and was allowed to cut the ribbon. “It feels good,” she said. “I love Publix, and to be able to cut the ribbon, it was something new and exciting.”

Kim Reynolds, community relations manager for Publix, said they had a great crowd. “We are just excited to serve new and existing customers and continue to provide the quality product and premier service they are used to here in Clarksville,” Reynolds said.
