The charges stem from a joint investigation involving the Clarksville Police Department, DEA Task Force, and Special Agents in the TBI’s Drug Investigation Division which began in April 2012.

As part of the investigation, a total of 27 people were indicted by the Grand Jury, many of whom are still awaiting trial. This is still an ongoing investigation.
