CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Four people have been arrested and charged with criminal homicide after a Clarksville woman was found dead in her home.
The body of Shirley Beck, 39, was discovered at a home on Wilson Court just before 5 a.m. on Thursday.
According to police spokeswoman Natalie Hall, officers were called following a report of an unresponsive female, and found Beck with multiple injuries.
It appeared that the 39-year-old died from blunt force trauma and had visible bruising. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Clarksville residents Derek M. Vicchito, 36; Matthew Lee Reynolds, 27; Alphonso Jay Richardson, 24; and Cynthia Dianne Skipper, 46 were booked into the Montgomery County jail on the criminal homicide charges.
According to arrest warrants, the suspects restrained Beck and Richardson allegedly struck her with a metal pole. The other suspects admitted to beating and kicking the victim.
