CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Fort Campbell High School senior athlete Torrance Dixon has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week following his performance in the Falcons’ 50-12 win over Todd County.
Dixon got it done through the air and on the ground, with 101 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries, and a catch for 25 yards. The senior running back also dominated defensively with a 65-yard pick-six.
Dixon has been a ball hawk for the Falcons all season, currently tied for first in the state with four pick-sixes, and he ranks 10th in the state for interceptions with 5.

Fort Campbell head coach Henry Mitchell values the effort that Dixon gives consistently on both sides of the ball. “Torrance Dixon is going to give you 100% on every single play,” said Mitchell. “He is absolutely deserving of this award, he represents this Falcon football program, the high school, and the community.”

This week, the Falcons have a matchup with Owensboro Catholic to decide the region champion.
For Dixon, his mindset is to just continue to play the way he has been, and let things fall in place. “To win Player of the Week to me means to lead by example,” said Dixon. “You just have to show people you have what it takes to show out and ball.”
