FORT CAMPBELL, KY (CLARKSVILLE TN) – Around 250 soldiers with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team and 101st DIVARTY, returned to Fort Campbell late Saturday night after their nine-month deployment to Eastern Europe. A ceremony was held at the Passenger Processing Center, where the soldiers’ family and friends came together to welcome them home.

The deputy commander of the 101st Airborne Division, Brig. Gen. John Lubas, welcomed the soldiers back. “Thank you for your hard work and sacrifices over the last nine months. Your efforts have made a huge difference on the war in Ukraine and on the security of Europe and our NATO allies and partners. We’re incredibly proud of you and happy to have you home,” Lubas said.
