Clarksville, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The annual Tobacco Stick Softball game will take place this weekend at Heritage Park. The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. with both City and County employees competing against Fort Campbell’s finest.

Hosted by the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce, the game is just a goodwill, fun community event. The event began as part of the annual Warrior Week celebration events held across the county. Each year it brings camaraderie and competitive spirits to the field.

Celebrity athletes include: Major General Brian Winski, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Commander; Command Sergeant Major Bryan Barker, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Senior Enlisted Leader; Joe Pitts, City of Clarksville Mayor; Jim Durrett, Montgomery County Mayor; soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division and employees of the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government.

Come out and cheer on your favorite team; the event is free and open to the public. The game takes place at Heritage Park ball fields, 1241 Peachers Mill Road, Clarksville. Directions
