Fort Campbell soldiers and families to receive Christmas trees from Trees for Troops

FORT CAMPBELL, KY – Trees for Troops takes place Dec. 2 from noon – 4 p.m. at the 101st Airborne Division Parade Field, 6390 Desert Storm Ave. Fort Campbell is expecting approximately 200 trees.

Trees will be available to junior enlisted service members and their Families from noon – 2 p.m. Trees will be available to all active duty from 2 – 4 p.m. or until trees are gone. ID Cards will be checked. Individuals are asked to bring blankets or padding to protect their vehicle.

Trees for Troops brings together FedEx, the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation and tree farmers across America to deliver real Christmas trees to service members stationed across the U.S. and overseas. Since the Trees for Troops program launched in 2005, FedEx has shipped almost 300,000 real Christmas trees to service members and their families.
