STEELVILLE, Mo. – Kyle Curtin, a Fort Campbell soldier, won the Ozark Trail 100 Mile Endurance Run Saturday in Missouri.

The race, which trails through the Mark Twain National Forest in south central Missouri, features water crossings and approximately 12,000 to 15,000 feet of elevation.

Curtin ran the race in 17 hours and 44 minutes, beating the course record by close to an hour.  This is Curtin’s second 100 mile ultra-marathon win this year, following a win in the Kettle Moraine 100 in Wisconsin.
