FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Department of Defense has identified a Fort Campbell soldier who died over the weekend in Iraq.
Spc. Ryan Dennis Orin Riley, 22, from Richmond, Kentucky, died Saturday in Ninawa Province, Iraq from a non-combat related incident, officials said.
Riley was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 32nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
No further details have been released about the incident, as it remains under investigation.
