CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Fort Campbell soldier was killed in a single-vehicle crash June 25 on I-24.
According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Deaundre Green was traveling eastbound on I-24 shortly after 9 p.m. near mile marker 2 at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle.
The car went off the left side of the road through the median and struck a tree on the driver’s side.
The report states that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
According to Green’s Facebook page, he was a soldier stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky.
