FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – A Fort Campbell soldier died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound Thursday around 1:30 p.m.

According to the Fort Campbell Facebook page, the incident occurred outside of the U.S. District courthouse at Fort Campbell.

No one else was injured.

The name of the soldier is being withheld at this time. The shooting is currently under investigation.
