CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Captain John Kile of Fort Campbell presented the Clarksville Police Department’s (CPD) District 1 Captain David Crockarell and Traffic Unit Sgt Johnny Ransdell, representing the entire Traffic Unit, with Company Coins Dec. 2.
Captain Kile and his soldiers work closely with District 1 in providing each other with current crime trends and he says that Captain Crockarell and his supervisors and officers have gone above and beyond in assisting them.
Traffic is always a concern on Fort Campbell Blvd., Tiny Town Rd., and all the roadways near Fort Campbell’s base. Captain Kile and the CPD’s Traffic Unit work together in trying to make the roadways safe by sharing information back and forth to learn from each other and educate the community on potential traffic hazards.
Captain Kile and some of his soldiers join CPD and other agencies during saturation patrols Friday night.
