CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Fort Campbell High School will be closed today and tomorrow due to a student testing positive for COVID-19.
“Due to staffing impacts, and out of an abundance of caution, we will close FCHS Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct. 13-14) to ensure resources and staffing are in place to cover all classes potentially affected,” the school said in a post on Fort Campbell’s Facebook page.
The school plans to reopen Thursday, and will continue taking health precautions.
“In coordination with the Fort Campbell Community Health team, contact tracing associated with a COVID-positive FCHS student has been completed. Quarantine requirements have affected a number of staff and students – all of whom have been notified,” the post continued.
