FORT CAMPBELL – (ESPNCLARKSVILLE.COM) Fort Campbell beat district rival Trigg County Friday night 35-14, making it two in a row for the Falcons.

Fort Campbell’s offense was too much for Trigg County with a total of 421 total yards compared to 131 for the Wildcats.

Trigg County’s QB Tyreke Wilson is coming off an injury. The Wildcats couldn’t capitalize on key plays.

Fort Campbell’s top performer was QB Abdel Howard Jr., who ran for 161 yards on 16 carries with 3 touchdowns. 

RB Louie Regalado had 123 yards on 13 carries and a fumble recovery. 

Denoris Buchanon had 58 yards and a touchdown. 

At one point, a Fort Campbell player stopped to tie the shoe of a Trigg County player, displaying a nice show of sportsmanship.

Fort Campbell has a week off and then plays Union County.
Trigg Co plays Paducah Tilghman next Friday at home.
