CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Employees at the LG manufacturing plant were in for a surprise Monday morning as the company held an event celebrating the renewal of a partnership with the Tennessee Titans featuring some former NFL stars.
The partnership was created three years ago, and both organizations are committing to continue their efforts in supporting factory workers and local businesses, driving economic growth, and providing family-friendly events and programs. Plant President Chang Woo Son noted this was a proud moment for his team.

Former Titans players Jevon Kearse and Keith Bulluck were the highlight of the event, speaking, meeting with fans and signing autographs.
Kearse was a defensive end for 11 seasons in the NFL and was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the first round pick of the 1999 NFL draft. He told Clarksville Now, “I like how they (the Titans and LG) are both big in the community. A lot of their vision is hand-in-hand, taking care of the people that take care of you; I think it is awesome.”
Bulluck was an NFL linebacker for 11 seasons. He was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the first round in the 2000 NFL draft. He said he has been able to see this program grow since the partnership first started. “Since LG has been partnering with the TN Titans, a few years ago with the Taste of Tennessee, I’ve been a part of this each year. I’ve been able to see how it has grown and how the relationship that they’ve built the first few years have resonated throughout the Nashville community.”
Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden and Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts were also in attendance.
“It’s wonderful having people who are willing to invest in our community constantly. They displayed that during the tornado, with their financial investment that they gave to help with the relief,” Golden said. “They don’t just show up when times are bad; they show up every day.”
Pitts said, “This is part of why we want to recruit good companies, good corporate partners, good community partners to our city to provide not just great jobs but to be invested in our community.”
