CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – To cover the rising costs of high school sports, Clarksville Academy will host its inaugural Clarksville Academy (CA) Football 2018 Kickoff Dinner and Silent Auction on August 4.
All proceeds will benefit the football program and help with equipment, field upgrades, and travel expenses.
The event will also feature former NFL player Brent Alexander, who spent 12 seasons in the league with the New York Giants, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Carolina Panthers.
“This is our first annual kickoff dinner for the program,” said CA Touchdown Club president Mike Robinson. “It’s not only a time to help with funds for our growing program, but it’s a time where coaches, players, and parents can get together outside of the field and fellowship and celebrate the start of the 2018 season. We have a great menu planned, a phenomenal speaker lined up, and some great items up for bid. It’s going to be a special evening for our program.”
If you are interested in attending, or if any business is interested in donating auction items, please contact Mike Robinson at mrobinson@5starradio.com
Tickets are $40 each, or a table for eight for $250. The event starts at 6 p.m. at Clarksville Academy in the auxiliary gym.
