NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of a former Dickson County probation officer on charges of official misconduct.
Christian James Tyrone, age 51, is being charged with two counts of Official Misconduct. He was booked into the Dickson County Jail and has a $2,000 bond.
TBI agents began investigating allegations of misconduct by Tyrone, who at that time, was employed as a private probation officer in Dickson County on September 6, 2017. During the course of the investigation, agents developed information that in April 2017 and September 2017, that Tyrone exchanged sexual favors for leniency in payments for probationers.
