CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) -The City of Clarksville had a ceremony Friday to celebrate the retirement of three city employees from Clarksville Fire Rescue.
Mayor Joe Pitts presented Deputy Chief Ray Williams, who served as a firefighter, fire investigator, and fire marshal during his 32-year career, with a plaque and coin commemorating his retirement.
Administrative Support Supervisor Susan Harris retired with 28 years of service was also presented with a plaque and a coin.
Engineer Jay Christoffer had 27 years of service but didn’t attend the ceremony.
