MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Land owners interested in improving their timber stand, or those looking for information on forestry, are invited to attend a Forestry Field Day hosted by the Montgomery County Extension Office. The Montgomery County and Western Highland Rim Forestry Field Day will be Saturday, November 9 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The event will be held at Erin’s Farm in Cunningham, Tenn. Erin’s Farm is a working Christmas Tree and blueberry farm, owned and operated by Gary Hamm.
Topics will include multiple-use working forests, timber stand improvements, natural resources conservation, service cost share programs, and University of Tennessee extension programs.
Breakfast will be provided by the Montgomery County Extension Office. Lunch is available for $5.
