CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service (NWS) says snow is possible in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area this weekend.

Expect rain throughout the day Friday with a mix of rain and snow after 8 p.m. There is another chance of rain/snow mix before 8 a.m. Saturday with precipitation then turning over to rain and a high of 44 degrees.

According to NWS, some areas may see up to a half inch of snow, but any accumulation will disappear by mid-morning Saturday as temperatures climb above freezing.

There may be some slick spots on roads, especially bridges and overpasses.

More rain will fall throughout Saturday and Sunday with a slight chance of rain and snow after midnight Sunday.
