CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- The Children’s Miracle Network will be hosting a special food truck event to benefit research and special programs at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The food truck event will be held on Sunday, July 12 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Walmart located at 1680 Fort Campbell Blvd.
Kona Ice, Smoove’s Grill, Tanky Treatz & CB Snow Pawz-Shaved Ice, and La Casa Taqueria, Chef Jamie’s Food Truck, will be selling and donating a portion of their proceeds to the Children’s Miracle Network Campaign.
“The event that your local Walmart is hosting is a great way to see the local businesses and the community come together to help provide the best possible care for children in our county and the surrounding area,” said Elliott French, Children’s Miracle Network Champion for Walmart.
All the donations raised during this fundraiser campaign from this area will go to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt located in Nashville, TN to help with research, care, equipment, and special programs designed to help children live a better life.
Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital treated approximately 16,812 patients from Montgomery County, and treated over 400,000 patients across all 50 states and internationally.
