CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Flourishing Families’ 2nd annual Christmas in Clarksville celebration will be held at the Gilroy on Saturday December 19.
The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. and last until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The community is invited to come eat and participate in the Christmas festivities.
During this holiday, Flouring Families wants to give to those students in transition (homeless students) and low income students that will not be receiving Christmas gifts. These students need items such as toys, coats or food (perishable items).
All of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Second Chance program. This program assists the homeless and low income students and families in the Clarksville Montgomery County School System. There are already 231 students who have signed up as of October 27.
Last year 121 families participated in this event. They left with gifts, food, Christmas decorations and HOPE.
