CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Flood Warning continues for the Cumberland River at Clarksville.

The water level is expected to remain above flood stage for the next few days so we shouldn’t expect much improvement to area parks and other flooded areas.

A chance of rain returns over the next five nights but none of it is expected to be heavy. The Flood Warning extends through Saturday night.

The following roads remain closed as of Wednesday afternoon:

• Lock B South at the river bottoms
• Shelton Ferry Rd
• Southside Road
• Lock B North at the bottoms
• Gholson Road,
• Lock C River Bottoms
• Lylewood Road at County line,
• Kirkwood Road at Lock C bottoms
• Levi Road
• Powers Place
• Chapel Hill Road at the bridge over Hurricane Creek
• Pinnacle Point Bridge on Chapel Hill Road
• Hematite Road
