CLARKSVILLE, TN − Many were impacted by the recent heavy rains. For those who had their home flooded, the United Way Hands On program is stepping in to help them recover and move on to the next steps.
We are looking for volunteers to help remove water and water damaged items, as well as gutting out damaged flooring, carpet, tile, trim, drywall, insulation, cabinetry, and doors. Volunteers may also be assigned to clean and sanitize salvageable items.
All volunteers should:

- Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and waterproof shoes or work boots.
- Be comfortable lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
